Visiting the historical monuments of Pest and Buda (Heroes' Square, Royal Castle, Fishermen's Bastion, House of Parliament, Castle of Vajdahunyad, museums, view from the banks of the Danube, Citadel, various buildings and statues, etc.) our guests will get a picture about the past of Hungary. During the sightseeing tour the participants will also get an inside view of the daily life of the city, and their eventual questions could be replied by the guide.
Sightseeing by cruising on the Danube, guiding by loudspeaker, enjoying one of the most beautiful treasures of the World Heritage: view of the banks of the Danube.
Besides the sightseeing our guests will visit the House of Parliament, as well as the Hungarian Royal Crown and crown jewels.
Our guests will walk to the famous Vörösmarty Square (Café Gerbeaud) - take the Millennium underground to the Opera (visiting it from inside) - walk on the Grand Boulevard Andrássy, passing by the "Hungarian Broadway", House of Terror, "Kodály Körönd", take again the underground to Heroes' Square, visit Széchenyi Bath, - take a walk in the City Park (Városliget) and visit inside Castle of Vajdahunyad - return to the city centre by underground, where the tour will end.

"Paris of the East" illuminated - With this program we are inviting our guests to a traditional Hungarian folklore evening, to a restaurant full of feeling. The aperitif is followed by a three-course dinner, accompanied by wine and colourful folklore program. Our guests will be picked up at the hotel, taken by bus to the restaurant; on the way back they can enjoy the view of the illuminated Budapest from the Citadel. Program may finish either in a casino or in the hotel.

Szentendre is located about 15 km far from Budapest; it is a picturesque town with Mediterranean feeling in the Danube bend. Many artists were inspired by the nice location of the town; different museums house their works of art. One option is to visit the Ceramic Museum of Kovács Margit and to buy souvenirs in various shops offering high quality folklore products. Also other exhibitions can be visited upon request (Arteria Gallery, Ferenczy Museum, Caprice Jewel Manufacture, Y Gallery).
Danube bend signifies the 20 km long bend of the Danube with its surroundings. The view of the "real" Danube bend is starting at Visegrád. The lower and upper castle of Visegrád was built in the 13th century. Many people do visit it also for the wonderful view from the citadel.
The "western gate" of Danube bend is Esztergom, the centre of the Hungarian Catholic Church. The historical importation of the town is also outstanding. St. Stephan, the first Hungarian king was born and crowned here, and he also died here. He founded the archiepiscopacy of Esztergom. The main cathedral built in the 19th century is the largest church in Hungary.
The "southern gate" of Danube bend is Szentendre, a picturesque town with Mediterranean atmosphere, small squares, winding streets, baroque town-houses. Nowadays Szentendre is the town of the museums. The works of the artists having lived and living in the colony established in the beginning of last century might be seen in various museums and galleries.
Bus tour to Gödöllő. Guided visit in the Grassalkovich Palace. The palace has been the much-liked residence of Kaiser's Franz Joseph's wife, Sissy. The guests may visit the suites of the Kaiser and his wife as well as the impressive staterooms. In the café of the palace our guests will have an opportunity for a coffee break. Waiters are wearing period dresses.
Travel to Kecskemét, sightseeing, then travel to Lajosmizse. Typical Hungarian lunch in "Tanya Csárda" in Lajosmizse. After lunch our guests may attend a horse-show and visit a mini zoo. Return to Budapest late afternoon.
Etyek is located 26 km far from Budapest, in the hill-country of Etyek at 176 m height above sea level. It has 3700 inhabitants.
Viticulture goes back here to centuries and the village belongs today to the historical wine-growing region. There are more than 800 hectares of vineyards around where partly the base wine of Törley sparkling wine, partly the popular Etyeki wines (Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Princess, Rhine Riesling) are produced.
Herend is located near to the lake Balaton and our guests may admire there the masterpieces of the famous porcelain factory established over 150 years ago. The tradition of painting the highly successful patterns and making the statuettes is passed down from father to son. Both the famous Victoria pattern and the secessionist and Hungarian ones are hand painted.
The largest lake of Middle-Europe, Balaton is located at the foothills of the volcanic mountains of Balaton highlands. Families with kids may relax at the lake from April to the end of September, but it is suitable for sailing, windsurfing and fishing as well.
The price of the program includes also a Hungarian lunch in a traditional "csárda".
